AION 2 Bot Report Guide: Suspected Botting, Macros and Safe Reports

Report suspicious automation through official channels with factual evidence. Do not retaliate, mass-report, name-and-shame, or use third-party automation yourself.

A report is not proof of guilt. Describe observable behavior, use official reporting tools and avoid duplicate or retaliatory reports. Do not download “bot detection” or automation software.

Observe, do not accuse

Record a short factual pattern: repeated route, repeated action, location and time. Names, language or a single efficient gather are not reliable proof on their own.

Use official channels

Use the in-game report option where available, or the official website Report section. Follow the current operation policy and submit only relevant information.

Protect your own account

Do not use scripts, unattended input, macros outside permitted tools or RMT services. Security locks and sanctions can affect accounts associated with unauthorized activity.

Safe report checklist

  1. Check that the behavior is repeated and observable, not just inconvenient.
  2. Use a concise category and neutral description such as suspected automated gathering.
  3. Include the approximate time, place and behavior if the report form permits it.
  4. Submit once through the official route; do not coordinate harassment or mass reports.
  5. If the report function errors, wait and use official support rather than creating duplicate reports.

Policy and community cross-check

NCSOFT's published AION2 policy identifies botting, gold farming, macros and unauthorized programs as sanctionable and provides a Report route. Recent community reports describe suspected automated gathering and report-rate friction; they are context for player experience, not evidence against a named account.

Bot Reporting FAQ

What should a bot report include?

Use a factual, concise observation such as repeated automated-looking gathering behavior, along with time and location if the form allows it.

Should I mass-report suspected bots?

No. Use official channels, avoid false or duplicate reports, and do not coordinate harassment against named players.
