Check your server
Population, language and queue conditions are server-specific. Use the server list guide before committing.
Know your PvP goal
Faction choice matters most when you want RvR, objectives and an active community at your play time.
Choose Elyos when
You prefer the Elyos identity, your friends are there and the target server has a schedule and community that suit you. Do not select a faction only because an old tier-list post calls it stronger.
Choose Asmodians when
You prefer the Asmodian identity, your group plays there and the target server works for your region. Confirm any regional restrictions before character creation.

A few minutes of planning can prevent a stranded main character.
- Agree on a region, server and faction with friends.
- Check maintenance, population and language conditions for your normal play time.
- Choose a class that your group needs; faction is not a substitute for role balance.
- Review current faction and transfer rules in official notices.
- Use character creation guidance for the final server, name and appearance decisions.
