Resources and market

AION 2 Economy, Crafting and Kinah Guide

Make your early AION 2 resources last: understand what a material is for, compare the current market and avoid turning temporary progression into permanent waste.

Currency first

Keep everyday spending, market currency and premium currency separate. A name match does not mean the currencies can be freely converted.

Materials second

Before farming or using a stone, rune or crafting material, identify its current source, purpose, binding rule and replacement cost.

Market last

Compare the live price with your own progression need. Selling a scarce material can slow your next important upgrade.

Resource-planning checklist

  • Read the item tooltip, including binding and expiry information.
  • Check the current patch notes for event rewards or upgrade changes.
  • Reserve materials used by your main class and near-term progression path.
  • Compare listing fees, price history where available and your replacement cost.
  • Do not buy farmed currency or services from untrusted sellers.

Crafting and trade

Official AION 2 previews have described a trade system using in-game currency rather than premium currency. The exact live rules, tradability and regional limits can change, so verify the current Global notice before making a crafting or market plan.

Progression route

Match materials to your next real upgrade.

Pricing and value

Keep store purchases separate from market decisions.

Patch changes

Check balance and reward changes before investing.

Do not use third-party currency sellers, account traders or unverified “Kinah generators.” They can violate service rules and put your account or payment details at risk.
